Frighteningly good theatre

For the fourteenth time the labyrinthine tunnel system of the Mödling bunker – 16 km from Vienna – will be the scene of a highly unusual summer theatre. This year visitors can expect some scares from the master of subtle horror.
On the ‘ghost train principle’ (something new round every corner) the seventeen stations take the public through the milestones in the works of Edgar Allen Poe: from his famous poem ‘The Raven’ and his short story ‘The Tell‑Tale Heart’ to ‘The Fall of the House of Usher’. The plot is held together by a poet on the brink of madness, tottering through the corridors with a bottle of wine. A deliciously scary time awaits you!
