First Sarajevo Days in Vienna

The cultural event “Vienna Days in Sarajevo” was held for the first time in May 1998.

A media symposium on “Media and Communication in Central Europe” was one of the highlights back then. After the Vienna Days came back to Sarajevo in 2007, the city is now paying a return visit to mark the 10th anniversary of the first cultural exchange. The Bosnian capital will be at the centre of attention in Vienna from 20 April to 17 March. The programme of these Sarajevo Culture Days in Vienna features the exhibitions “Sarajevo 1888–1918” and “Sarajevo under siege” as well as films and music. You can already get in the mood for this cultural exchange on 28 March when the first Bosnia-Herzegovina Ball with waltzes and Bosnian music will be held at Schönbrunn Palace.
